I was asked to speak at an event for Years of Tears. They work with the family members of murder victims. I never knew there was such an organization because I never was touched by such violence. I tried very hard to imagine what feelings I might have or how I might feel should I lose someone I love in such a selfish way. I wrote three poems for this event and would like to share them with you.
